Privacy Model

Guest mode (default)

By default, everything you do is stored only in your browser's local storage under a single namespaced key, ramReadyFinancialFutures.v1. Nothing is sent to a server. You can export, import, or permanently delete this data at any time from your profile or journey page.

What we never collect

• Social Security numbers or taxpayer ID numbers
• Bank login information, account numbers, or routing numbers
• Exact investment holdings or exact debt account numbers
• Copies of tax forms or credit-report login credentials
• Exact home addresses

Onboarding only ever asks for broad category selections and fictional simulation ranges — every question can be skipped or answered "Prefer not to answer."

Optional account mode

If a site operator configures a separate Supabase project (see Supabase setup), you may optionally create a passwordless account to sync bounded profile tags and progress across devices. Row Level Security ensures you can only ever read or write your own rows. Sync is manual, not automatic background sync.

No tracking, no ads

This course sends no personalization data to third-party analytics, uses no ad trackers, and includes no affiliate links. Any optional local-model (WebLLM) personalization runs entirely in your browser and never transmits your profile to a remote server.

Display name safety

Your display name and any optional free text are sanitized before display and are never rendered as executable HTML.
