Repository and deployment

• Confirm the repository is BREXAtlas/Digital-Literacy-Course without a trailing hyphen.
• Confirm the active branch is main.
• Confirm GitHub Pages deploys from the current workflow.
• Confirm the public course URL opens.
• Confirm no service-role key, password, private document, or student record is committed.

Mobile menu

• Open the site on an Android phone.
• Open the site on an iPhone or in Safari responsive mode.
• Tap Menu and confirm navigation appears directly below the header.
• Confirm the button changes to Close.
• Confirm every navigation link works.
• Confirm tapping outside or pressing Escape closes the menu.
• Confirm the menu does not appear behind lesson content.

Create Your Story

• Complete Steps 1–7 and reach Step 8.
• Confirm Next remains visible, greyed out, and disabled.
• Confirm Back and Edit selections work.
• Confirm Begin your story and Begin with a generic story work.
• Confirm every lesson retains its assigned illustrative student and verified Angelo State major, regardless of profile display name.
• Confirm no unresolved learner placeholder appears.
• Edit profile choices and confirm lesson facts, assigned students, quiz answers, and consequences do not change.

Foundations lessons

Test at minimum Episodes 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, and 20.

• All 20 map nodes are links labeled available or completed.
• Episode 20 opens from a fresh guest state without completing Episode 19.
• Opening narrative renders without a placeholder.
• The illustrative example uses the episode’s assigned student and remains understandable.
• The lesson figure appears with a readable text alternative.
• The concept section displays four grouped cards.
• Choice cards are readable on mobile.
• Selecting Choose this displays the result inside that card.
• Selecting another card closes the first result and opens the second.
• The knowledge check appears and every answer gives an explanation.
• Continue works after all checks are answered.
• Stars, achievements, and progress persist after refresh.
• Before completion, Rate usefulness is muted, disabled, and explained by accessible status text.
• After completion, selecting ratings 1 then 5 updates the cumulative brain highlight and visible rating status.
• Refreshing preserves the selected rating without changing stars, achievements, or progress.

AI Quest

My Journey and achievements

• The dashboard shows the correct completed episodes, quests, stars, and achievements.
• Resume links open the expected lesson.

• Confirm no lesson requires dragging and no quiz is timed.
• Confirm reduced-motion mode removes unnecessary animation.
• Confirm dark mode remains readable.
• Confirm 200% text zoom does not hide essential controls.
• Confirm rating brains have 44-pixel targets, visible focus, and selected state that does not rely on color alone.
• Confirm Arrow keys and Home/End change the rating when the control is enabled.

Pilot feedback form

• Open Pilot Feedback and confirm role and course-path validation works.
• Complete ratings and open comments, then submit the form.
• Confirm an email is prepared for lmcgaffie@angelo.edu.
• Confirm the structured summary remains visible if no email app opens.
• Confirm Copy feedback and Download feedback JSON work.
• Confirm the form does not store responses in local storage.
• Confirm the privacy warning is visible.

Browser console and final readiness

• Confirm no uncaught JavaScript error appears on the landing page, onboarding, Foundations, or AI Quest.
• Confirm no missing asset or 404 appears for figures, scripts, or styles.
• Run node scripts/validate-site.mjs and confirm validation passes.
• Confirm GitHub Actions passes and record the deployed commit SHA.
• Give testers the public URL and Pilot Feedback link.
• Assign different testers to different lesson ranges.
• Preserve returned feedback using de-identified pilot IDs.
• Use the pilot feedback protocol to code and prioritize findings.
